40 CapitaLand staff volunteers travel on an expedition to Nang Yen Commune, Thanh Ba District, Phu Tho Province, to help to complete the final phase of the upgrading works at CapitaLand’s first Hope School in Vietnam, CapitaLand Nang Yen Primary Hope School. The volunteers are made up of staff who are based in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, China, Japan and Vietnam.

| CapitaValue Homes to develop its third value housing project |

CapitaValue Homes Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CapitaLand Limited, has, through a subsidiary, signed a Joint Venture Agreement with Khang Dien Sai Gon Real Estate JSC, a subsidiary of Khang Dien House Trading and Investment JSC (“Khang Dien”), to jointly develop an approximately 29,000 square metre site in District 2, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. CapitaValue Homes will lead the development and build 974 value homes on the site. The total project development cost is estimated to be US$70 million (approximately S$88 million). The incorporation of the joint venture company between CapitaValue Homes and Khang Dien is subject to the approval of the Vietnamese authorities. The joint venture is conditional on and subject to the fulfillment of several conditions precedent. Upon obtaining the necessary approvals and the satisfaction of the conditions precedent, CapitaValue Homes and Khang Dien will hold 70% and 30% stake, respectively, in the joint venture company. Further details relating to the incorporation of the joint venture company will be announced when it is incorporated.

Sponsors 15,000 cassette tapes to support the education needs of blind children
Ho Chi Minh City, 4 August 2010 – CapitaLand Vietnam today contributed 15,000 cassette tapes to benefit the blind community through the Audio Books Charity Fund. Those tapes will be used to support the education needs of blind children in Vietnam. With the 15,000 tapes, the National Audio Library will record about 100 books including textbooks and references, to supplement the study materials for 84 schools and organizations nationwide. This support from CapitaLand is expected to benefit 6,000 blind students in the coming school year 2010 – 2011.
